The maximum length of an abstract is 1500 words

Basic glass science

• Structure of glass
• Glass and melt properties (rheology, electrical, thermal, mechanical properties, redox, thermodynamic)
• Chemical diffusion
• Nucleation, crystallization, phase separation

Glass and glass ceramic production

• Glass and glass-ceramic fabrication
• Glass melting technology and process
• Modeling (furnace, chemical processes)
• In-situ measurement/characterization techniques

Application

• Nuclear and hazardous waste vitrification
• New glasses for energy transition (glass fiber, high temperature electrolysis, …)

New approaches for glass sustainability

• Life cycle analyses
• Reduce primary raw material
• Reduce CO₂ emission
• Increase energetic efficiency

Special Issue in Material Letters

We are offering to participants of the ICG Spring School 2024 to submit a contribution in a special issue dedicated to Glass and Sustainability of Materials letters
